Hello Bookish Buddies, and welcome to the first day of (my weirdly scheduled) blogmas! I thought we should kick it off on a happy note and do the Happiness Tag! I was tagged by Olga @ Olga’s Oddish Obsession in July, so it’s about time I get to it! Let’s get into the tag!
List Five Things That Make You Happy:
1. My dogs
Sorry to any family or friends I have, but my dogs are non-debatably first. I love them. They’re like happy, furry balls of positivity, and they never fail to cheer me up when I’m down. Even my chiweenie, who does not care about my emotions whatsoever.
2. My family and friends
I feel like this one is a given for most people. I would be no where without support from my family and friends.
Obviously, or I wouldn’t have this blog. I love books. I love how unique they all are. I love how imaginative they are. I love how there’s a book about almost everything you could think of.
Because food is good. Yeah.
I like naps because naps are great. You don’t have to worry about doing anything when you’re napping. Sure, you might have to when you wake up, but you’re in sweet oblivion during your nap.
List Five Songs That Make You Happy:
1. Drown Me Out by Andy Biersack
This is like my number one go-to hype song. It’s so motivating. Like if you’re trying to work out or do a difficult assignment and you’re just not feeling it, you can listen to this song and be ready to overthrow a corrupt government or something.
2. You Can’t Stop the Beat from Hairspray
Basically ditto, except it’s more like overthrowing the patriarchy instead of a corrupt government. Sometimes I’m weird and I don’t make sense to other people, but it makes sense to me.
3. The Entire Hamilton Soundtrack
I. Freaking. Love. Hamilton. I mean, the sadder songs towards the end don’t make me especially happy, but the first act and just the play in its entirety is epic.
4. Dancing Queen by Abba
I think this is the first song I ever loved. My parents tell me I used to love dancing to it when I was three or something. It’s a great song.
5. The Rest of Them
Yep. I love music. Music just makes me really happy.
